NAME – Apistós from the Greek ἄπιστος, which means incredible, is our imaginary flower, which does not exist in nature and is therefore incredible for us.
GRAPES – Cabernet Franc 100%.
VINIFICATION – The grapes are hand-picked, destemmed, pressed and fermented with the skins in concrete tanks for approximately 30 days.
REFINEMENT – Approximately 16 months in wood (first and second passage French oak barriques).
COLOR – Intense and lively red.
PERFUME – On the nose it expresses elegant herbaceous and green pepper varietal notes.
TASTE – In the mouth it is complex, velvety and harmonious.
COMBINATIONS – Excellent with first courses with meat sauce, perfect with red meat, game or grill.
ALCOHOL CONTENT – 14% vol.
